TellasonLadbroke Grove Slim Tapered

The Ladbroke Grove almost equals its bigger brother (the John Graham Mellor) except these are tapered from the crotch down. This gives them a slightly thinner leg-opening and the perfect look and fall on your sneakers.

Menno- Menno

The Ladbroke Grove is a slim tapered pair made from 14.75 oz. White Oak Cone Mills denim with a double ring spun and sanforized finish. Exclusive to Tellason in this shade. An all-American product with denim from Greensboro, a leather waistpatch from Portland by Tanner and the production by Tellason in San Francisco. A limited number of 450 pairs were produced.

Denim Video: Blue Jeans, A Fabric of Freedom

We came across a great denim video thanks to Blue Gold Blues today. The short documentary shows a nice history of our beloved denim cloth. Now we all know jeans went from workmen to fashion stores and I guess we also know denim was a lot better back in the days. Since Levi's decided to move their production channels to foreign countries it all went down as from the late eighties, early nineties. Their jeans became mass produced and cheaper fabrics came into play.
But there is hope! Not only because Levi's decided to get back into quality denim with their Levi's Vintage Clothing, but also because small, well crafted jeans brands like Tellason, Roy and Imogene + Willie decided it was time to bring denim home. More about Imogene + Willie from Nashville, Tennessee soon at Tenue de Nîmes. Stay tuned.

Denim Interview Pete Searson at Tellason

The good folks at Contemporary Standard published an in depth interview with Tellason Co-Founder Pete Searson yesterday. The guys provide a nice insight into the core values of the brand, their latest collaborations with A Continuous Lean and yours truly and Pete talks about the real value of rigid, American denim.

We will soon release our first 'A Few Minutes of Denim' video in which we add some new Tellason denim facts too. Enjoy the interview here.

New Collection Part 1 Tenue de Nîmes

This week Tenue de Nîmes officially launched the first part of the new winter collection for men and women online. We will update the website on a weekly basis with new denim and apparel. To give you a little sneak preview of what you can expect from us this season we hereby present you two of our favorite outfits.

Annabel is wearing a black trenchcoat by Woolrich with a Acne Flex S Basement skinny jeans and black suede shoes by Folk.

Matthijs is wearing a folk knit by Morrison Howlin with a Tellason Ladbroke Grove tapered jeans and Red Wing Work Chukka's in oro-riginal.

Winter season has officially started people, we can't wait to show you more.

Meet the Tellasons

Today we are meeting with our friends from Tellason. Pete and Tony traveled all the way from the States to discover Europe this week. After Sweden and Denmark they will have a look at our small flat country today. We will be meeting them tonight to have a look at their new tapered fit that Rene initiated. When we were in New York this winter Rene presented Tellason an idea for a semi-slim tapered version of their slim straight fit. We can;t wait to see what they came up with.

If you guys want to meet Tony and Pete, or maybe want them to sign your Tellason jeans make sure tot pop by the store at the end of the day today. To let me know if you are coming send me an email to menno[at]tenuedenimes.com - More Tellason news soon. Beers are in the fridge!

Tenue de Nîmes x Tellason Nº2

We have teamed up with our San Francisco-based friends at Tellason for our second denim project. Tellason have produced an exclusive run of 24 hand-numbered denims made from a 13.75 oz selvedge White Oak – Cone denim. The pockets are lined with a vintage WWII cotton canvas tent fabric, made by a former Belgian mill. The top button is inspired by a coin from Nîmes that dates back to Roman times. The jeans symbolize the passion that we share for high quality denim and vintage icons.

Under Construction

Our friend Nathan supplied us very unique army cloth for a new Tellason collaboration that will hit the store shortly. Have a look at Tony and Pete cutting the pockets for the new TellasonTenue de Nîmes jeans. The guys from RC did an interview with both of our denim friends last week. Get in the mood here. More info on our second release soon.

We have also selected these items, which we believe you might like.
