Gitman Vintage Fall/Winter releases at Tenue de Nîmes

The Autumn Winter season kicked off and we are excited to present you the the second drop of Gitman Vintage treasures at Tenue de Nîmes. The company likes to describe what they do as ‘A fine American Made Shirt Collection’ and that’s way to modest as far as we are concerned. All the Gitman Vintage shirts are created in an American factory that has been making clothes for more than 70 years. The label is part of the Gitman Bros. family and every shirt consists of 25 pieces of fabric and takes about 50 steps before its (hand) finished. The shirts from the ‘vintage’ line are famous for their classic three-inch button down oxfords as well as some dazzling seasonal fabrics from countries like Italy and Japan. And as the Gitman team points out on their website: "These American made shirts will only get better with age." Now that’s exactly how we like it!

Next to my personal favourite (the indigo patchwork printed Oxford, third left) we have selected some of Gitman’s most peculiar fabrics for this Fall. First of all two ‘Dobby Weave’ fabrics in a 'Floral Kimono Motif' and a ‘Winter Blossom’. On top of that we picked two poplins in an ‘Autumn Neat Print’ and the ‘Snowflake Print’. Last, we selected two beautiful Japanese jacquards in ‘Indigo Pin Dot’ and ‘Indigo Checkerboard’.

We hope to welcome you soon so you can come and ‘feel’ these stunners!
